Heather Lee is a soprano. She is able to give an inspiring performance to her audiences through her diverse professional experience, dedication, humour and vitality. Some of Heather’s projects include performances at the UN and Whitehouse, the Grammy longlisted album Beyond Karma with the Gyuto Monks of Tibet, Sweet Dreams, (ABC Classics and the Sydney Opera House), Ishq, (CD and installation for the Khalili collection of Islamic Art at the Art Gallery of NSW); Songs to RA, (Egyptian Antiquities exhibition from the Louvre); Mandala for Dawn, an orchestral and choir work commissioned and performed in New York, The Thread of Life, (international ensemble in New York for US release); The Sacred Fire, an ABC commission to sing the music of the first woman composer Hildegard of Bingen and numerous concerts in Australia and India. Her show, Moonlight Picnic at the Taj, an operatic journey of the life of her great Aunt who died in India while touring as a visiting opera star is of special note.
